ad-7 Distillation Tester

ASTM D86-12, ASTM D850, ASTM D1078, ISO 3405, ISO 918, IP123 & IP195

The ad-7 automatically performs distillation test of petroleum products as well as narrow boiling range samples for ASTM D86. The eco-friendly automated distillation tester is compact, robust and fully self-contained. The ad-7's built-in Peltier system cools and heats the condenser as well as the receiver compartment. Preset and user-defined test programs allow simple, one button testing with an easy and intuitive 10.4 inch color LCD monitor with touch panel. The instrument includes advanced data management software (the tda/Tanaka Data Acquisition System) and Fire Containment system which shuts down the heater when the ultraviolet sensor detects a fire and CO2 gas flows into the heater compartment (if connected to CO2 source) as well as Overheat Protection where the Heater shuts down automatically at the upper end of the temperature scale. Flask Catcher reduces the risk of breaking vapor tube of flask. 200 test modes. 5,000 test results. RS-232C, USB port, Ethernet. Testing methods ASTM D86-12, ASTM D850, ASTM D1078, ISO 3405, ISO 918, IP123, IP195.
