Cannon-Manning Vacuum Calibrated CMVC (9724-H50) Series

For measurement of viscosity of highly viscous materials such as asphalt cement at 60°C (140°F) according to ASTM D 2171. Applicable to materials with viscosity range of 0.036 to 80 000 poise. Vacuum of 300 mm Hg is applied to small arm with timing bulbs; two bulbs are incorporated to extend viscosity range of viscometer. Read more about the significance of expanded uncertainty.

Provided with certificate of calibration and instruction sheet.

Cannon-Manning Vacuum Calibrated CMVC-RO (9724-L50) Series

Same as 9724-H50 series, but with permanently attached round metal holder, for hole 51 mm (2 inches) in diameter.

  • Minimum sample volume 6 mL. Require liquid bath depth of 180 mm (7.1 inches).
  • Holder is not supplied. For holder, see 9726-N15

Viscometers with special constants are available by special order at additional cost.

Still need help choosing a viscometer? There are many reasons why one viscometer type is more appropriate or better suited than another. Because of these many reasons, we recommend you speak with one of our experienced staff members to assist you. You can however, use our viscometer selector to help point you in the right direction. The viscometer selector requires a target viscosity as input and outputs a list of viscometer types and sizes that are capable of measuring your target fluid.
