Service Agreements

We now offer two additional service options to help ensure continued high quality results from your Cannon Automatic Viscometer (Models: CAV2,3,4 and CAV-2000). These new services are The Preventative Maintenance Service and The Calibration Service Agreement. These services are scheduled in advance to allow maximum convenience and minimal workflow interruption. We plan to offer similar agreements for some of our other products in the near future.


Preventative Maintenance Service Agreement

Procedures Include:
  1. Visual inspection of cables, wires, tubing, and drain lines
  2. Cleaning of externally exposed components such as sample table, sample holders, circulating pumps, and panels
  3. Cleaning of internally exposed components such as drain lines, pneumatic lines, air cylinders, and vacuum traps
  4. Adjusting voltage and current settings for the viscometer tube thermistor sensor boards
  5. Verify proper bath temperature control
  6. Adjust or replace sample handling pneumatic air cylinders and regulators


The Calibration Service Agreement

Procedures Include:
  1. Complete viscometer tube calibration, using the NIST traceable, highest quality Cannon Viscosity Standards
  2. Calibration labels for the front of the instrument
  3. Calibration results report for quality records


Added Benefits:

  1. A priority will be given to any further repairs during the remainder of the agreement term
  2. Additional operator and maintenance technician training can be planned during the scheduled visit
