C. Patrick (Pat) Maggi is President and CEO for CANNON Instrument Company
Pat joined the engineering staff at CANNON in 1988 where he was responsible for mechanical design, engineering, and software development. Pat was instrumental in the design of several of the early generation software packages for the Cold-Cranking Simulator, Mini-Rotary Viscometer, and High-Temperature High-Shear Viscometer. In later years, Pat led the design of the popular second generation CCS, MRV, and CAV instruments. Recent engineering contributions include the PolyVISC dilute polymer viscosity system and the concept for the miniAV viscometer.
An active participant in ASTM and the Society of Automotive Engineers since 1990, Pat is now chairman of ASTM D02, Subcommittee 7, Section A on Newtonian Viscometry. Pat is also a member of the Society of Tribology and Lubrication Engineering and ISO Technical Committee TC28. Pat was awarded the ASTM Award of Appreciation in 2006.
An Eagle Scout, he graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Engineering and, more recently, an MBA (magna cum laude). Hobbies include motorcycling, cars, boating, skiing, and woodworking. Pat lives in State College, PA, with his wife and daughter.

Frank L. Saylor is Vice President for Sales & Marketing for CANNON Instrument Company
Current responsibilities include supervision of all marketing and distribution activities for CANNON's manufacturing center and international dealer network. Mr. Saylor joined the staff at CANNON in August of 1987. Previous experience has included work in the medical ultrasound industry as a product manager and director of operations.
He actively participates in ASTM, SAE, and STLE gatherings. Frank graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has completed continuing education in sales/marketing and distribution management. Frank enjoys outdoor sports. He and his wife have three children, including two teenagers.

Kenneth O Henderson is Vice President of Technology for CANNON Instrument Company
Current responsibilities include Standards, Information Technology, New Test Methodologies, Legal Liaison and Strategic Planning. Mr. Henderson joined the staff at CANNON in February of 1998. Prior to that time he served as Manager of Engine Lubricant Qualification Testing, Castrol North America and VII Development / Lubricant Rheology with Ethyl Petroleum Additives. He has served in a leadership capacity with several important tribology and quality control organizations including STLE and ASTM.
He is currently chairman of the ASTM D02 Committee on Petroleum Products and Lubricants. A past scoutmaster of the BSA, he has received the BSA and NESA Scoutmaster Award of Merit, and is a 4-time winner of the ASTM Award of Excellence. He graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis with a BS in Chemistry. His hobbies include computer and model railroading (HO scale).

Oscar H. Mendez is Vice President of Distribution, Mid-Atlantic and Latin America Sales for CANNON Instrument Company
His responsibilities include maintenance of major distribution contracts, as well as regional and international direct sales contacts.Oscar joined CANNON in 1997 after working for six years at Thomas Scientific as Vice President of International Sales. Previous employment included diverse responsibilities during a 14-year stint at Wyeth Laboratory, including the post of Marketing Manager at the Wyeth facility in Caracas, Venezuela.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he has traveled to most of the countries in the world. He originally came to the United States to play professional soccer. Oscar is married with two grown sons. He lives with his wife in New Jersey. He enjoys gardening and music.

Mary Beth Weaver is Executive Administrative & Marketing Assistant for CANNON Instrument Company
She joined the staff at CANNON in September of 1979. Her duties include upper tier administration support.
Hobbies include cooking, reading and cheering on children during sporting events.
Mary Beth is married with two children.

Kent Hamm is a regional sales manager for CANNON Instrument Company
Kent joined the sales staff at CANNON in 1991. Prior sales experience includes time with GE Medical Co. (sales of nuclear, radiology, CT/MRI Imaging Systems), Searle & ENI (Biochemistry Instrumentation) and Fisher Scientific Co. (Lab Equipment). Kent has also participated in cell biology/cancer research with St. Jude Research Hospital. He received his BS in Chemistry/Biology from Louisiana Tech. He resides in Seabrook, TX. Kent is married and has two sons. He enjoys fishing, boating, shooting, and collecting antique fishing tackle.

M. Thomas Zubler is Director of QA and Technical Services Manager for CANNON Instrument Company
Current responsibilities include maintaining the ISO 9000 and ISO 17025 Quality System, overseeing the Calibration Laboratory quality program, managing the Technical Services Group, and ensuring global dealer technical support. Tom joined the staff at CANNON in 1980, working part time. He moved to a full-time position in 1986. Tom is a member of ASTM and has participated in the ASTM D02.07A Cooperative Kin Vis Program as Chairman. He is also an ASQ member and NCSLI Member delegate. Tom graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Hobbies include coaching baseball, basketball and soccer. Tom is married with five children.

Chuck Maggi is Engineering Manager for CANNON Instrument Company
He is the principal circuit designer (analog and digital) and printed circuit board layout designer. Chuck joined the staff at CANNON in 1989, and has 40 years of experience developing electronic products for commercial, industrial, aerospace, and military markets. Previous employers include Schlumberger Well Services, General Electric, Singer Link, North Electric, ITT Defense Electronics, and HRB Singer. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Chuck is a member of ASTM section D4 for standards involving asphalt test methods and specifications, and been has been granted three patents in his name. He is an independent consultant and a member of the National Control Board for the All-American Soap Box Derby.

Brian J. Poillucci is Product Development Manager for CANNON Instrument Company
Current responsibilities include management of all projects related to new product development; he also acts as liaison between Engineering, Marketing, and Production in support of developing required product and process documentation. Brian assists with design, development, and testing of new instrumentation and related systems including mechanical, thermal-mechanical, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Mr. Poillucci joined the staff at CANNON in January of 2005. Previous work experience has included six years at Murata Electronics, where he worked with design of voltage-controlled crystal oscillators and ceramic and other application-specific capacitors. Brian graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Ed Titlar is a Customer Service Representative for CANNON Instrument Company
Ed joined Cannon in 1991 as publications specialist and customer service representative. After graduating from Penn State with a MS degree in organic chemistry, he worked for several years for the USDA as an agricultural chemist. He then branched out into technical editing and computer programming. Ed retired from full-time work in 2000, but still spends several hours each day fielding Cannon customer inquiries.
