Dear Valued Cannon Customer,
Attached please find a statement which describes Cannon's instrument support philosophy for discontinued products.
In this case, we are notifying you of our future support plans for the CAV-2,3,4 product group.
The
last instrument in the CAV-2,3,4 series was manufactured in June
of 2001; which indicates that we will no longer support members of this
product group after June of 2011. Therefore, we recommend that
customers using the CAV-2,3,4 make plans to replace these older
instruments after mid-year 2011.
In general terms and by application, customers should consider replacing the CAV-2,3,4 instruments as follows:
